Yeah I can understand some of the story critiques because of how much gets unloaded all at once. It’s mainly just surprising to me how many times I hear people complain about actual resource management or the fact that the game isn’t 1 solid color throughout the entire campaign
@xDaddyDuragx
Yeah I can definitely see that lol. Much like doom 2, some portions of the levels look extremely video game in sort of a jarring way. The jump from the heart chamber in Super gore nest immediately to the sewers with fire chains spinning everywhere is pretty hilarious

In that interview the very last question he answers that his only true love is money. He appreciates women but admits he has no time for them
@FawfulsMinion
Wario benches over 400 pounds on a regular basis IIRC. He's actually not far off from having peak body building physique, as it requires a huge intake of food every day. He eats nothing but garlic and steak, which would explain why Wario is such a stallion
@Deadn00b1
It also pisses me off hearing the game be “too cartoony” because there was like purple slime one time in a level. Many of the stages are either hellish and gothic in so many diverse ways. The Makyr world especially has huge Giger vibes that fit right in with the series
@pixel_axel
The lame answer is that mars was terraformed in some games. The cool answer is that he survives the harsh environment of space through his sheer hatred of demons
@doom_txt
16’s cyberdemon is not cybernetic looking at all with his rock armor exterior and is more moose-like than your typical goat demon. The design is okay but it does one of the worst jobs at representing something that it’s supposed to be. It should trade names with the Tyrant lmao
@IsannKeket
Not much of a smash person anymore but I feel like doomguy could be in anything and it would be amusing. Idk why people want to limit him to “le ebic violence” when he isn’t even that edgy of a character. Dude loves bunnies and cute shit, let him be with his fun nintendo friends
I always found it bizarre how the fences in Super Mario 64 had barbed wire, seemingly for no reason, since it didn't do any damage or anything... It could have just been a normal fence, and looked less aggressive?
@IsannKeket
The whole point of removing his helmet was to show you the parallels between him and Davoth. I don’t like the ending at all but that was the only part of the ending that was needed for it to convey the “good doomguy vs bad doomguy” dynamic
