The asylum policy is destroying our country but that doesn’t mean we should stand with Israel. We want Palestinians to remain in Palestine rather than join the mass of refugees flooding Europe. This would have happened with or without Ireland’s position on Isreal. What we need is a much tougher stance on asylum and a respectable right wing party to challenge our left wing coalition but we’re stuck with this shit show for another 5 years… more than enough time to cause irreparable damage in the current geopolitical battleground.
