And that’s a wrap on the Hoop Roots 2024 Season! 16u went 6-2 in AC/Spooky and made the chip at the Nook, and 17u went 4-3 on the trip. Thank you to our wonderful coaches and parents who provide the support and guidance for these guys. More to come from a lot of these Roots!

These are just two of the countless guys that help our 16u group succeed, who ended 4-0 with a big championship win!!
Eli Prince (C/O2026) (left) and Tucker Burnett (C/O 2026) (right) both had good games in a dominant win for @hooprootssyr. Prince was a force in the post getting many rebounds and a big dunk for his team. Burnett helped his team by scoring from all 3 levels and being aggressive on defense. #S16

Another championship for the 16u group down in Spooky Nook!! These guys have been a great balanced team and continue to learn and succeed. 4-0 on the weekend!! Hoop Roots 17u also earned a 2-1 record on the weekend, with another tough weekend with gritty wins along the way.

Impressive weekend from our 17u group as well, coached by @Jpritch_5, as they went 2-2 in the Platinum 1 division at the Pitt Jam Fest. All tough battles with close outcomes, and the group continued to develop and will continue their strong play in Spooky Nook next weekend!
