Like a lot of people who aren't nazi sympathisers, I am abandoning this absolute cesspool in favour of Bluesky - for anyone else looking to build their network on there✌️

The goal is to genuinely level the playing field, with gender, class, sexuality, disability, race, etc. simply not being relevant to the process unless the role specifically calls for it, which is rare. Demonising all DEI because capitalism does it badly doesn't help anyone.

@ChristinaLibDem I'm a pretty hardened atheist & secularist who honestly believes society would be better without religion but if I showed up to a party meeting wearing a shirt reading "God is dead" or something, I'd expect some backlash & one could reasonably assume provocation was the goal.

Politicians are allowed to go to gigs, football matches, holiday… dance a bit - why am I getting constant articles about the very normal activities senior MPs may be doing during recess? Some take the piss, sure, but some people seem to be missing the distinction.
