@mladan I have to think it’s the product of decades of plotting to all but eradicate the middle class, making it hard for average people to even have time to engage/care because they’re just trying to put food on the table. So sad.

Before you @ me, obviously I don’t support the Jan. 6-ers. Just interesting to see how “easy” it was for them to organize. If people wanted to now, they could. And they’re not.
It’s so telling to see how mobilized Americans have been in the past…the Vietnam War protests, and even January 6, 2021, vs. now. As their whole government is literally being dismantled and their Cheeto Tyrant is threatening other countries: relative crickets. Interesting.

If Americans don’t want our resources at a discount, fine. We will find other countries to trade with. Trump and his cult of Maga idiots seem to think they are our only option. Their arrogance will be their downfall.

I know it’s only $200 and most people don’t care that much, but some (like us) are in pretty dire financial straits at the moment and were actually counting on having that at the end of January, as was promised.
