@LordLucasCD @David_Spendlove A backbench member of the unelected house, complains about teachers and academics. Well, even the worst teacher in the country does more for it on a daily basis than you.

@IoWBobSeely I think children should have a well-rounded curriculum including music. Is this a good enough reason to take issue, Bob?

@miss_mcinerney “Historians generally don’t like to ask questions like this because all diseases and afflictions are socially constructed by us.” Yeah this is a load of rubbish, anyone saying this shouldn’t be taken seriously on history or SEND education.

@RogersHistory There’s a lot of division and disagreement in eduction at the moment re: approaches but they’ve managed to unite everybody in opposition to what they’ve come up with. It would be impressive if it were not so sad.

@englishspecial This is going to encourage more and more attempts to hide illegally off-rolling (We all know which MATs do this)

@warwickmansell Or, that rather than “coasting” it has taken monumental effort to maintain standards/ statistics during increasingly difficult circumstances.

@Strickomaster The emphasis always seems to be on trying to catch people out and meting out punishment… not providing support in a collaborative effort to improve

@timeshighered Exposes the Russell Group for what it is, a marketing cabal that allows nondescript institutions to cling to the coattails of a couple of genuinely research intensive, elite institutions.

@PaulGarvey4 Perhaps one of most blatant examples of someone masquerading as an expert when they are blatantly unqualified. More and more of them around

@Jasper231231 They’re not. They’re people that have titles like Associate Pro Vice Chancellor for Strategic Engagement and contribute nothing to either education or research.

@revkatiethomas Is it always a good thing to find common ground with people? Isn’t it better to refute hate rather than appease it? Talk of “both sides” suggests that each view is equally valid, which is not always true theologically, morally etc. Despite disagreeing, have a pleasant day
