For my final few days in Central America, I decided to check out some of the museums in San José, and one had a butterfly garden! I was trying to take a video of them eating and luckily caught one opening its beautiful wings. Now on my way to Vienna for the @FENSorg Forum!

In Grenada, Nicaragua, I had the amazing opportunity to swim and paddle board (badly) in a lake in the crater of a dormant volcano! We also did a little safari boat tour and saw many monkeys, birds, and an incredible sunset 🌇 @Intrepid_Travel

I think my favourite country on this trip so far has been Nicaragua. It’s a gorgeous, lush place. In Léon, I went volcano boarding, which is a sport you can only do on one volcano, Cerro Negro. The view was amazing and the boarding was crazy fun! @Intrepid_Travel

I make sure to visit places of importance no matter how horrible, which means I’ve seen many repeats of the same theme: humans treating other humans abominably. I believe that learning from the source is one of the best things travellers can do. It is hard but essential.
