Year 2 are reading ‘The Water Princess’ and are examining how to write a persuasive piece of writing about water scarcity!

This week reception will be learning about the moon and planets in the solar system. The children will be using our key text to source information about the Moon and learn new vocabulary such as orbit and crater. @the_atlp

Year 3 will continue to use The Egyptian Echo as inspiration for their writing this week.

This week, Year 5 are exploring Anglo-Saxon history through The History Detective by Neil Tonge! 📚🔍 They'll be using the text to gather key information and create non-chronological reports about life in the Anglo-Saxon era. 🏰⚔️ #HistoryDetectives #AngloSaxons #Year5Learning

Year Six Key Text: Mortal Engines. After dark, Hester tells Tom her story- how she was born outside a city in a beautiful area too difficult for moving cities to get to; Valentine wants MEDUSA at any costs…… What price will he pay? 🤔

Year 4 - We will continue our learning on World War Two by exploring non-chronological reports and how it differs from other types of writing. The children will then begin to plan and draft their own non-chronological reports, deciding on the key facts they want to include.

Year 1 - We will be continuing with our key text 'Traction Man'🧍‍♂️ This week we will be creating a story map, sequencing the story in order of how the events happen, rewriting it for our writing display and completing a comprehensive quiz. A busy week ahead 🤩
