My new chapter opens in Vienna. I have taken up a two year postdoc with the Complexity Science Hub @CSHVienna. Mission: big data & models to illuminate how we can handle the greatest issues of our time. I am in the transforming economies team (future of work, for me). Delighted.

@joachim_voth EU competitiveness compass will be taking a close look at the regulations around ai. We'll see. EU very aware of need to keep up. Part of their offer is major compute factories for companies to train their models

@JuliusKoschnick Yes to big consequences. But not in tasks.... Biggest impact in education I think. I'll post something on this tomorrow, but in some sense education is a by-product of new tech being skills complementary
