As a football coach myself, How can I advise people to go to their local County FA for guidance if they are not willing to even help me? Could this be one of the reasons why there aren’t many individuals from the BAME community joining teams? 🤷🏾♀️ 5/6

This is a bigger issue than just my situation. It’s all good wanting to increase the amount of females in the game if behind closed doors we’re not actually getting these opportunities or being listened to. It’s really frustrating as a player and a coach. Sort it out. 6/6

My friend who has a very common white name had called the Liverpool County FA with me. This time round we had told them she was looking for a team in a predominantly white area. First thing I noticed was they were willing to help her there and then. 3/6

I was nominated for an England Football and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Award. Although I didn’t win anything I’m still grateful for everyone who nominated me. This one means a lot to me as theres been a few moments where I was ready to give up on coaching
