Yet, just as well, some are the most flamboyantly pro-queer ppl you'll meet - best not to judge before doing so.

It doesn't do much except reinforce contempt and prejudice when posts like these generalize a whole diverse identity as if it ought to be "called out"

You can just as easily see trans ppl of all kinds embrace a sort of 'boyhood' centered around resenting cruelty experienced in their history of being gatekept from womanhood. In that way some transfems embrace their assigned sex, & transmascs reject it.

@abookofsymbols Afaict, its about eligibility for inpatient services or other treatments, both for institutionalization and insurance reasons. Oftentimes, there are issues with psychopathology simply bc it was cooked up by men who spend a lot of time making not to accidentally care "too much."
