It is interesting that this metaphor is used to point out the fact that women don't have choices over life altering events. which, in turn, means roosters have more protections in the state of Oklahoma than women. I don't find this amusing in the least.

Thankful SB 44 was signed into law yesterday. We have been working on this bill for 3 years - finally, patience and persistence prevailed.
Legislation was signed Monday to stop punishing people who miss court dates due to being incarcerated or detained by law enforcement.
