@CollinGallant @markusoff I searched around a little bit and it looks like railway property is assessed for taxation — though didn’t find a specific rail yard reference. The only reference I found that says they are exempt is a reference to a 20-year deal in the 1880s (Wikipedia tho)

@CollinGallant @markusoff The property is operated by the airport authority — and the airport authority is a “not-for-profit, non-share capital corporation, incorporated under the Province of Alberta's Regional Airports Authorities Act” so yeah they pay property tax
