1500 ewes lambed and 100 cows calved all outside between the two of us 🐑🐮 and our dogs have worked pretty hard too! 🐾 big thanks to both of our parents and my best mate who all helped us out with childcare whilst we worked silly hours. Team work makes the dream work! 🙌🏼

A barrage of DMs since my last tweet accusing us of animal abuse & running a death camp. The only response I think we can give as an industry is to keep sharing what we do, the hours we put in, how we ensure our animals thrive & how we strive to improve & adapt year upon year.

Yesterday we had TWO lambs attacked by crows whilst they were being born. Their tongues are completely gone. They hadn’t even made it into the world yet. The ewes weren’t birthing for long, but it was long enough. To those who say ‘crows only attack the dead’ - here you go.
