Victims of DV are never at fault. But I think this was the first time people talked about self preservation and what that means and how YOU CAN STILL help without being direct. I think it was a perfect opportunity to learn. Main takeaway was to always be there.

Unpopular opinion: I believe simply not wanting a child is grounds for abortion. Being birthed by parents that didn’t want them is not an experience children deserve.
Furthermore i think abortion goes beyond the scope of r*pe. People are choosing to not carry children into instability, poverty and physical abuse and i don’t think they are wrong for that. If they don’t wish to carry a child into a world where they will inevitably suffer 1/2
