New Start! 🇬🇧🔥 3 weeks ago I decided to return to the UK permanently and start a new chapter of my life which involved both swimming and studying at Loughborough University. I’m so grateful to all who helped me with my swimming in France. Memories I will cherish forever! 🥂😊

WOW that was fun! My first 5km in a major Championships and what an experience!
No pace variations, an all out sprint from start to finish. Tough getting back in just 48 hours after the 10km, but grateful to race the Worlds best again!

7th place today in the 2.5km at the Italian championships🇮🇹 Off the back of a 4th yesterday in the 10k with some freshies finishing ahead who didn’t swim the 10k the day before 😬 1st to the first buoy also which is all that counts really😉💪🏼 Full results attached below.

Unfortunately no racing today in Paris. Event was cancelled this morning due to the Seine’s water quality being contaminated by sewage.
A shame to not get the opportunity to battle it out on the Olympic course a year early.

25km silver 🥈today at the French Championships in 4.59.03 hours 🇫🇷 water temperature was 17.4 with wet conditions, a good first experience and some good hard work, pushed a little too hard from the 15-20km mark and felt it at the end, more pain more gain! 💪🏼

2 week camp finished in Canet, back in Montpellier now. Some of the biggest sets done: 5k time trial, 20x200m off 2.20 fast, 6x1000m off 11.30, 500/5x100/400/4x100 etc etc all the way down fast! finishing with 3x2000m last night off 22.45 fast. Feeing ripe to race 🇬🇧

It’s only Tuesday 💀 10 sessions now complete ✅ got lucky tonight with just a 3km main set whilst the others endured 3x1500m fast followed by 4x100m all out resulting in an 800 💨 due to the 100’s being too slow. Now they have to repeat the 3x1500 tomorrow morning 🤮
