6th. The Paris 2024 Olympics have concluded, marking the end of my second Olympic Games. While I initially felt conflicted about the outcome, upon reflection, there's much to be proud of. Although I didnβt achieve the medal I believed was within reach, the performance I delivered represents the culmination of three years of hard work and the redemption Iβve sought since Tokyo 2021. I feel incredibly fortunate to have competed in such an iconic venue. It's rare for open water swimming to receive the attention that Paris 2024 provided. Despite the concerns about water quality leading up to the event, I commend Paris for making it their Olympic legacy to clean up the Seine, setting a powerful precedent for other nations to follow. To have raced in the flagship event for the games is something I will cherish forever. The last year has been the most successful of my career so far, winning a World championship medal for Britain, the first in Olympic distance for 13 years. Momentum is behind me, this is just the beginning. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my career! Exciting things ahead. #Paris2024 #Olympics
