RT @AnnRolle_: Hear me out. I’m no fan of the 51st State comments. The thought makes me cringe. Is it possible US Intelligence has more…

@Martyupnorth_2 It is highly likely this poll was taken in the Ottawa and Toronto area. Not buying it for the rest of Canada.

What action would cause greater harm to Canada. Trumps tariffs on steel and aluminum or our next installed Prime Minister Carney imposing higher carbon tax on the same products?
As we wait on word of Trump’s tariffs on steel and aluminum….. Remember that Mark Carney wants to jack up the carbon tax on steel and aluminum. But he told CTV this wouldn’t drive up costs. What this would do is devastate steel mills in Hamilton, Edmonton, the Sault. Etc.

Imagine being pissed off at your neighbor's leader, who is trying to get his neighbors, us, to clean up our messy yard, while our people simultaneously cheer on our leader's weak response yet ignore the fact that Justin Trudeau himself has levied massive taxes against us that have hurt our prosperity greatly. I find it incredibly stupid that Canadians are ready to go to war against Trump over the tariffs yet are silent as church mice about the upcoming $15/per ton carbon tax increase in April that will raise the price of gasoline 21 cents, diesel 25 cents & 18 cents per cubic meter of natural gas that Justin Trudeau has levied against us. It is absolutely moronic that we are willing to shoot ourselves in the feet to "show them Americans we mean business" yet we do NOTHING meaningful to show our leadership that we are greatly opposed to their insane spend & tax policies. Trump is a businessman. He likes to make deals. He offered the opportunity for our leadership to save face, clean up our act and be responsible neighbors. Unsurprisingly, Justin Trudeau failed to do that & now Trump won't even answer his calls. The vast majority of Canadians don't understand that we are currently an enemy nation. We have purposefully left our borders in disarray. We have allowed the Chinese a stranglehold over our nation. We have imported a massive amount of unvetted people in here. We have supported the enrichment of criminal politicians in nations, like Ukraine, for a war that was unjustly started by the west at the behest of the globalist bankers back in 2014. Who knows what other criminal actions this government is up to? I think that Trump is a reasonable man & obviously possess far more intelligence than the media & our leadership would have you believe. I think if it were possible to do, a sovereign Canada would be his first choice. He knows that we were a once proud nation. But if none of our piss poor excuses for leaders will come to the table & actually negotiate in good faith and make an effort to be good neighbors, then he will demand we become a part of the US to keep the region safe & secure. He can't be blamed for demanding we be good neighbors. I love Canada, or at least what it used to be before it became what Justin Trudeau has made it. We have a proud & rich history behind us. But at what point do we decide that starving under communism, to keep a dead dream on life-support, isn't quite as good as life could be living under a new banner with a dictator-proof constitution protecting your human rights and a leader that knows how to bring prosperity to the people, rather than financial struggles, like our leadership does. Call me a traitor if you want but I care more about being free and prosperous than I do about staying loyal to a broken, failed, post nationalist state. These tariffs may ultimately be the cure for corrupt governments worldwide. Perhaps we should be using this opportunity to put massive pressure on ALL of our politicians, regardless of whether they represent us provincially or federally, left or right. We should not let up on them until they all quit. The water isn't going to clear up until we get the pigs out of the creek. Copied and pasted

Found this on Facebook and it's too good not to share. @EHoward93813697 @RodKahx He also stated the carbon tax will be placed on the shoulders of industry. This means the consumer will continue paying the heavy cost of this criminal tax in the form have even higher prices. It's simple economics.
