i look at my nice tidy house, that i get to spread out in my big bed, that i get to chose the entire design, i watch what i want, eat when i want, can come home when i want, hell bring home whoever i want & think to myself, why would i want to live with someone else ever again?

i’ve done it i’ve finally [and single handedly] moved all the belongings i can from abu dhabi, to a temporary home in the uk, to my own new house and i’ve just posted the keys through the letter box to allow someone else to enjoy my old home 🏡🥳

so that’s it, an end of an era, & a marriage.whilst i got divorced 2 yrs ago, the financial settlement via sharia law takes a while to conclude. 5 mins ago, i was notified that all sums owed has been delivered whilst it means a fresh new start for the girls & i, i feel so low 😢

i popped to my moms this afternoon and she was on her own, watching wimbledon in the conservatory, eating cucumber sandwiches, strawberries and cream and drinking robinsons barley water. she really does make me do the biggest smiles

owing to the fact i sleep with both balcony doors and all the windows open, when i wake up and experience the sound of the sea, the cry of the seagulls, and the scent of fresh air & sand, it really feels like i’ve slept on the beach whilst snuggling under my duvet. i am v. lucky
