Big thanks to Marlene & Company who visited our Day Services Program and gave a concert featuring medleys from artists like Mahalia Jackson, Sam Cooke, Etta James, and more, in honor of Black History Month. The residents definitely enjoyed the music and got up danced! Thank you!

Misericordia residents, Jake and Maika, proudly hosted their employers from Glenview Park Golf Club and Glenview Prairie Club recently for lunch in our Greenhouse Inn Restaurant and a tour. Thanks to both clubs for being Champions for employment w/Misericordia since July 2024.

Did you know - Misericordia's Recreation & Leisure Department is offering advances sewing classes! These soon to be master sewers just completed their 1st projects! They used the sewing machine & patterns to create these 1 of a kind pieces! Can't wait to see the whole collection!

This past Wednesday was Chinese New Year-Residents from the Imagination Studios program celebrated Chinese culture through various Chinese New Year activities & cooking class. They also delivered handmade fortune cookies to bring good fortune to staff & residents.

With the addition of advanced sewing classes participants have started to learning to sew from patterns. The Discovery participants visited the @ChicagoMuseum Dressed In History Collection Retrospective: representing the many different people and stories that make up our city.
