List that I played to get top 8 at NAIC this weekend. Happy with the run overall, although I am disappointed that I played my worst set all tournament in cut.

Last thing on this: to people who said he didn't present his deck for cut. I said "you're good" to him as he was finishing shuffling, so that is why he didn't do it.

And a comment on the stream game controversy, since I was the there (although my opinion is not particularly important). Noah was one of my favorite opponents to play all weekend. The fact that he got DQ’d for one suspicious shuffle is unbelievable to me. Wishing him the best.

-2 munki gives you a big edge in mirror, and combining it with Devo gives you strong matchups into Zard and Pult (didn't hit either tho)
-Double flutter is good for Lax, LZB, and mirror
-Drifloon is fraudulent, it’s only good for Raging Bolt, but you can go cape mimi to win still

Shoutout to everyone who I met this weekend and all my friends who were watching. Happy that my stream game was my most interesting game from the event. Also sorry about the gum on stream, I don’t normally use gum but my friend gave me some and I guess I was pretty nervous haha

The snorlax board is ex with psy psy dark, and 3 ralts 2 flutter bench so nothin can be trapped. Can be complicated if they play league hq/handy fan. However, if you're not forced to waste turos on a flute/bad start, you should have enough juice to take the 6 prizes.

I gave candy chances in both temporal and masquerade format, and both times it was useless. If you have a hand good enough to turn 2 ex, you probably would have won that game anyways, and if you are trying to use candy to salvage a no kirlia board, you probably already lost.

Lux cape was mainly for mimi against raging bolt (can't be 1 shot by shocks/cornerstone/flutter). However, apparently they all play vac now, so I prob need to reevaluate. Luckily didn't vs one all weekend. Can also be used in the end game for scream but this rarely happens.

Honestly yeah, I went back and forth on 4/0, 3/1 and 2/2 for the arven/irida split. Don't think it really matters much. Settled on 3/1 since arven is better on t1, but the 1 irida can help you thin/get a refine-able in the mid game which arven wouldn't have been able to access

119 ladder games on ptcg live, tracked on a spreadsheet. Should have been more but I had some other stuff going the weeks before NAIC (and the set release was late/buggy)

Lugia is extremely favored still, they are really limited by bench space. You use the enhanced for the legacy hnds of course, and then you manage their minccino slots so that you can wall with ex.
