I’m gonna wait for Avowed to eventually hit PS5 even though I own a series S before thinking about giving it chance, something about it seems off but I can’t quite put my finger on it 🧐 time will tell.

@VascoSilva92 I felt the same more and more tbh TR is just “another saga” for me right now, even the classic games. I still adore them, but in a more detached way. I’m barely even hyped about anything getting announced lately. I discovered so many new, great games in the meantime.

@VascoSilva92 It got to a point where I applied the same mindset to Tomb Raider in recent times. If the next game is going to suck for me? Good riddance, I’ll find other 200 games to play. Endlessly whining into the void about the downfall of the franchise ain’t an option anymore lol

@gilgamesh310 Agreed, this why I decided to start my post with a premise about forced positivity, cause I usually prefer to read or engage in interesting discussions about something I like instead of a circlejerk of “this is great, masterpiece 10/10” that offers very little.

And I’m saying this as someone who isn’t exactly drawn to most mainstream games and only ever cares about specific genres/types of characters depending on what catches my attention. Get a fucking grip and pick up birdwatching or something, plenty of other hobbies out there.
