As someone who has severely bad back problems from an injury yet still needs to go out to stores, both for personal needs and exercise, I'd like to offer a different perspective. I have a handicapped placard that hangs in my car, so im entitled to park in handicapped spots. Yet, my back is so bad that most days I NEED a cart to walk to the store from my car. I need it inside the store, and i definitely need it on my way back to my car since I'm usually in excruciating pain or having spasms that could bring a grown man to his knees by the time I'm done So, to you, those people seem lazy and entitled. But for me, I wouldn't be able to go shopping without them. And to you, the guy in this video is a hero, yet to me, he's an asshole. I literally drive around parking lots, HOPING to find an available handicapped spot with a left behind cart. Somedays, i have to sit in my car and wait until someone comes along with one to return so I can offer to take it for them And im not alone It would help greatly if stores put their cart corrals closer to the handicapped spots, but they dont. They're always placed in the middle of the lot as to accommodate more people. I understand. It's just not thought out very well from this perspective. As for returning my cart, I'm not lazy. I'm not entitled. I work 3 jobs just to survive in this shitty economy. And what i am is in severe pain. Regardless, I will ALWAYS try to give it to another handicapped person because I know the struggle. I've even asked people to return it if there are multiple left near my parking spot. But sometimes that just doesn't happen, and i shouldn't be shamed or harrassed for it
