A fascinating clue lies in the Ramsund Carving in Sweden, a remarkable Norse inscription carved around 1030 AD, which showcases similar tooling techniques. Even more compelling, newly authenticated family journals belonging to John Wemyss Jr. describe this exact stone as early as 1769, detailing it with remarkable accuracy. If his account is accurate, the stone has been here for at least 255 years—likely far longer. The weathering within the grooves further supports this timeline.
