Day at Disneyland today - don’t forget to nab a park map as you enter!! 🗺️🏰✨
Creating this “fun map” for the event guide was a dream come true. This is something I’ll never believe I got to do!
“On the 23rd Day of the Month of September, in an early year of a decade not too long before our own, the human race suddenly encountered a deadly threat to its very existence…”
Happy Little Shop of Horrors Day! 🪴🩸
We need to take notes from Dickens and write all headlines like "Dick Van Dyke WHO DID NOT DIE Makes History as..." because this emotional whiplash is too much.
A friendly reminder that Disneyland Paris had its Mark Twain pulled by this ghastly phantom during its ‘03/‘04 Halloween seasons. Best holiday overlay ever? Just perhaps.
If you’re visiting a Disney Park today on Ol’ Walt’s birthday, please be kind to the cast members. Many if not all are having their bowels absolutely wrecked by commemorative chili. Truly, gastrointestinal horrors beyond comprehension. Show them grace.
My greatest aspiration has always been to create for Walt’s Disneyland, to give back to this special place that has given so much to me… and it’s finally happening.
I’m honored to announce I’ve accepted a role as Park Decorator with Disneyland’s Resort Enhancement team! ✨
“Have you ever seen a haunted house? You know the kind I mean. That old, dark house…that people avoid walking past at night. Strange sounds come from within the walls….”
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is glowing tonight at Magic Kingdom Park. I love nighttime lighting, now with Mama Odie’s bottle lanterns illuminated before the 50-foot drop. ✨️
I can’t even begin to articulate how thrilled I am to share this billboard art for the Universal Studios Tram Tour 60th Anniversary! ⭐️🎬⭐️
I can’t wait for you all to enjoy all that Universal Studios Hollywood has in store for this historic celebration!
There’s “snow” place like the Disneyland Hotel for the holidays! ❄️🏰✨
Designing and art directing this brand new holiday décor package for the Disneyland Hotel has been a delight - I’m so excited for you to experience this mid-century Winter Wonderland we’ve created for you!
It’s time for a jubilee 60 years in the making! 💎✨ I was honored to design the poster for
@BBMTofficial
’s Birthday Extravaganza!
The Bob Baker Marionette Theater is a remarkable LA institution that deserves the most glimmering and shimmering celebration - the future is sweet!
Hi, my name is Hayden (@ haydenevansart on IG) and I just finished this massive, mid-century “fun map” of Disneyland, inspired by all the gorgeous maps of Imagineering past. Prints are available at Etsy! (Link in next tweet!)
Help me share this with the

Now
#Disney100
has officially began, I’m delighted to share my contribution to the celebration - and my first official design for
#Disneyland
!
What was once 3 windows is now the widest window on Main Street - with a display celebrating Disney’s beloved animated features!
Life Update: This Friday will be my last day with Disneyland.
Maybe you’re as surprised as I am by this! But as I’ve lived out this particular “dream come true," even greater dreams have been born... and leaving my current role at Disney is the right choice to see them through.
On a plane ride, so I drew Sleeping Beauty Castle (for the 7,000,000th time, I think…?) to hash out this idea I have for a poster I’d like to make. We’ll see if this ever becomes something!

I’m Hayden, and I’ll be making mid-century Disneyland/Disney Parks art until the day I die (though hopefully FOR Disney at some point before then). More at:
It’s a Martian’s world after all! 🛸💥
Disneyland is doomed!!! Overrun with tons of terrifying terrestrials all hellbent on destruction - “The Zappiest Place On Earth” just got a Lightning Lane to lethal annihilation!
Another incredible display by the Resort Enhancement floral team - I am so proud of them! These flowers (and some new window displays throughout Main Street) are resplendent with incredible details celebrating LGBTQIA+ stories - this is a historic Pride Month for Disneyland! 🌈💐
If you watch Princess and the Frog and it doesn’t make you uncontrollably excited about the possibilities of its Splash Mountain retheme, then I don’t know how I can help you.
Trick or Treat - down the street - a castle that's too sweet to eat! 🎃🏰🍬👻🍭
Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom gets a candy-coated makeover in my new illustration, inspired by the equally-monstrous Walt Disney World's 25th Anniversary "birthday cake castle."
NOTICE, ALL GHOSTS AND RESTLESS SPIRITS: Post-lifetime leases are now available in this HAUNTED MANSION...
I’m thrilled to be de-boo-ting this new art, celebrating that most iconic Disneyland attraction!

I saw Kristin Chenoweth perform at BYU-Idaho tonight, and her singing “Popular” single-handedly brought more Mormon women to a level of orgasmic ecstasy than their respective husbands have ever witnessed or been personally responsible for.
And what’s incredible? You have a random Easy Coast teenager with a hyperfixation on orchestrion/calliope/organ arrangements to thank for the seasonal songs these play!
STORY TIME! 🧵
Halloween at Disneyland is the best because all of the coin operated cabinet orchestrions play Spooky music - and it’s not limited to Disney music!! 🖤
I’m so lame that this is my favourite thing to do at Disneyland for Halloween 👻
I read and reread and unread then reread this 18 times trying to figure out what on earth Mary Blair’s color theory on “really blue” water had to do with unstoppable diarrhea.
I am so proud of the talented artisans and designers that brought this silleta to life for Pride - and honored to work alongside them! The level of floral artistry that went into this display is unreal - treat yourself to a trip to Downtown Disney and see it for yourself! 🌈🌼
Did this silhouette study of Disneyland’s “Haunted Mansion” to play around with different proportions for… fun. Yes, that’s it! Fun! (And yeah, this *is* how sloppily I sketch hahaha)
Which is your fav??
I’ve started blocking out colors and playing around with some style options for this poster! Not married to anything just yet… 🏰✨
(50 bonus points to anyone that can clock the inspiration for this color palette!)

What, did you think the Studio Tram Anniversary fun was all done? Universal Studios Hollywood is only just getting started! This celebration is going to be tram-tastic! ⭐️🎬⭐️
Making its grand debut today: a brand new marquee design!
Before I head into Disneyland… I want to share just how *GRATEFUL* I am for this guy – beyond the millions of dreams he’s made true for me already, getting us across the country to make it to Disneyland just so we could see my designs in action?
He makes magic. And I luv him.
I had designed these decorative "Restaurant Fund" coffee cans originally for Eudora's Chic Boutique at Disneyland, but I'm delighted to see that they've made their way off the shelves and over to the Magic Kingdom as part of Tiana's Bayou Adventure's merchandise offerings! ✨🥫✨
Can’t believe we’re so close to “goin’ down the bayou” with Tiana!
⚜️💜🎺💛🐊💚⚜️
(Here’s a throwback to some “Princess and the Frog” art I made back in ‘21!)
A new celebration “D23 Day at Disneyland Resort” is making its debut this year as the ultimate kickoff party to “D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event” - I’m delighted to share the art I was asked to design for it!☀️🏰🎆
Look, mom… my first design for Disney as a freelance artist!

When I was 15? 16? my brother wanted me to paint a mural of Disneyland in his bedroom. I didn’t plan anything out and…just started painting (“haphazard” is the nicest way I can describe it). Anymore now I’m just grateful we had parents that supported/encouraged this kinda thing!
A large business I was designing a poster for ghosted me on emails and payment for 6+ months - until one week before the deadline, freaking out that they wouldn’t have a poster in time, like it was my fault.
A few days later, they were struck by lightning and burned down.
57 years ago today… Winds in the East blew a “practically perfect” nanny into theaters when Walt Disney’s “Mary Poppins” debuted! ☂️ Wanted to celebrate with this artwork, inspired by the gorgeous Disneyland Record covers of the mid-century.
(💛’s and RTs appreciated!)
Paul Hartley, one of Imagineering's first graphic designers - the artist responsible for some of your favorite attraction posters, designs, and graphics! His work is a brilliant, sophisticated encapsulation of the fantastical essence of both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom.
NEW: Tokyo Disney Resort released new video of Fantasy Springs, including an early look at Peter Pan's Never Land, Rapunzel's Forest, and Frozen Kingdom. WOWWW. The land officially opens on June 6.
Of all the places I thought my art could land, front-and-center on a pair of Mickey Mouse ears is somewhere I had never dreamt of! So delighted to contribute this design for the upcoming “D23 Day at Disneyland Resort” festivities! 🏰✨
