This is gonna be my main show/match ratings thread, probably should've done this long ago but here we are. Starting with my NJPW Dominion 2018 review.
I recently rewatched NJPW Dominion 2018, a historic show, here are my thoughts. The undercard was slightly mediocre, but the closing stretch of this show was nothing short of spectacular.

My attempt at a dream (delusional) AEW x WWE supercard, spread over two nights because I said so. I limited this to 11 matches per show, so I couldn't get some big names onto the cards. Not very happy with this, but it'd still be sick in reality. The venue: Greensboro Coliseum.

Random thought, but Bianca Belair's gotta be the performance center's greatest success story, right? Unless I'm forgetting someone, I'm not sure there's anyone else from there I'd consider one of the best in the world.

They have an unbeliveable wealth of knowledge in that locker room. If they made an effort to convert Ring of Honor into their developmental territory, I think they'd be very successful at it. Especially considering the amount of people they have signed.
AEW really need to start their own dojo/NXT system. I think it's like the primary thing they're missing.

I've deduced that it's just prob not my thing but I've seen a lot of borderline pearl-clutching going on regarding NXT. Not too much annoys me more than purists refusing to open their mind. NXT is very obviously not for a lot of people and yet they keep lamenting its existence.

If Io Shirai does anything else in Japan moving forward, I hope Victoria Yuzuki is involved in a match with her. It's been an unlikely dream match rattling around my brain for a bit. I see a fair bit of Shirai in Yuzuki, though their styles are slightly different.

I think a lot of people would gain some perspective if they spent some time around a wrestling school or even just talking with wrestlers about wrestling. The way some folks talk about wrestling/wrestlers makes me think they've never been around any sort of athletic endeavor.

@TakeshitaFan Think of CMLL as WWE and AAA as AEW. AAA is significantly younger than CMLL, starting in 1993, whereas CMLL is the oldest surviving promotion in the world. The gap between the two in popularity is closer than some make it out to be, though.

AEW could have matches like this every week but they choose not to for some reason. Big shoutout to AZM in this one, masterclass in getting yourself over with an unfamiliar crowd. Anyone who tells you ESL wrestlers can't get popular on American TV is a gormless rube.
