Finally, followed through on a promise I made my dad before he passed. It was not easy, and couldn’t been done with out a amazing family, admin & coaches. The staff picked up the slack w/o ?. It reinforces that nothing by just 1, you have to have a support system behind you!

Officer Herrera, was an amazing person and leader. He cared about students, and loved to see student-athletes succeed. He was a amazing supporter, and he impacted thousands of people's lives. I pray for his family as he was a great man, father, and friend.

Today was a reminder of the impact we have on others. AJ had a birthday party, and he wanted the team to come play football with him. They played for two hours, and when they left he said I can’t wait to tell my classmates I played with the Indian Land team.

Got great news from the the district today, we get to start back on MONDAY!! We have been planning for weeks, and are prepared for the new normal. So excited to get our players back and our TEAM back together on Monday!!! Football is back at THE LAND!!!

You never know the impact you have on others. When Mitt was asked what he wanted to do for his birthday, all he wanted was to come to practice to hang out with everyone. We have special people at Indian Land, and they have taken in Mitt and AJ as one of them.

100% FACTS (as Drew would say). Drew is a BALLPLAYER. He played almost every play in each game, and dominated as a WR and DB. 16 will be a hard jersey to wear in the future. Where he ends up next year is going to come back to IL asking for more like him.

They started as FR during Covid and have played through 2 stadiums and were on the ground level of building IL. While the game didn’t end the way it should have, it only started their return of the investment they made in themselves, the program and IL. Thank you, proud coach!
