Not a good night. Started having focal seizures at about 10.30 then a full on grand mal one in the garden at about 11 😓

This is a tired household today, I had another bad seizure last night and we’ve been up all night 😴 That’s 2 in a month now😔

Feeling sorry for myself. Had to go to the emergency vet, I’ve got a bad anal gland infection 😔 It really hurts and they even stuck a needle in the gland😢 Painkillers and antibiotics for a week and then back again as it may need further investigation.

And so epilepsy strikes again, after 9 months I had a full on grand mal seizure last night 😔 Dad stayed up with me and I slept most of the night in the garden. So today will be spent sleeping and eating to get some energy back 🥰

I miss him barking for our dinner.
I miss picking him up off the floor when he couldn’t get up.
I miss looking at his cute little face when he was sleeping.

Unfortunately I had another seizure at 10 last night. Took some cluster medication which made me lose the use of my back legs so wasn’t a good night 😢

When I got home from the vets I met this fella at the end of my drive. He’s Hugo, 13 weeks old and lives round the corner. We was very small and very well behaved, he sniffed me but didn’t jump on me ☺️

We hoped I’d have less seizures in 2024 but it doesn’t look like that will be the case. Had another one at midnight last night ☹️ But on the plus side I was very steady on my legs afterwards, stomped around the house for ages without falling over which was very unusual for me!
