Add in VanVleet and the Rockets clearly want to shoot a lot of threes — but too many of those shots were tough pull-ups. And Charlotte to their credit was baiting them into it.
Jalen Green took 14 pull-up jumpers last night, including 11 pull-up 3s. 4-of-14 off the dribble. Just do not think that's the type of shot diet he should be building.

@MattDoyle76 @bob_morocco Interesting. I might be too negative on Randle but I just don't see how they produce a functional offense with Randle there instead of KAT. Then again Naz might just take over and go up a level.

@bob_morocco Tank is prob a strong word, but I think the KAT to Randle downgrade makes them a lot worse as a title contender this season. Helps a lot with long term flexibility though for sure.

DiVincenzo a great fit in Minnesota. But I don't see a feasible path to starting him or closing with him. Are you really playing McDaniels at the four, or benching Conley to run Ant at the point? Neither ideal options.
Timberwolves just added a guy who took and made an OUTRAGEOUS amount of catch & shoot 3s last season (falling off the graph). Big deal to add a shooter with zero conscience to the rotation to replace the 3s they'll lose from KAT.
