@JerodMcDaniel Never tried a spreader. Guess there’s no reason for it not to work but seems like it would be less effective & more pellets just sitting around for other things to find them. I might very well be wrong though.

@ksucanola @j_lew_21 What I’ve always been worried about is our mild to cold back to mild then cold winters. I might be recalling wrong, but the few that had tried winter canola around here in the past, that breaking dormancy then hard freeze cycle has killed it.

@JerodMcDaniel We cleared an 80ac pasture this way so we could break it out. Started with a 4wheeler and a mounted feeder but as many holes as there were, it was more efficient to walk it. We had a box scraper we pulled but anything to knock the holes down would work.

@j_lew_21 @CBKimbrell NASS is pointless, close it down. Could easily consolidate FSA & NRCS. RMA needs an overhaul. Do away with ARC/PLC & don’t replace it & bring back something like SURE for disaster assistance, not price support. That’s just a few things on the Ag side of the “Farm” Bill.
