A bit late in posting this, but had a wonderful time @Cambridge_Uni learning how to apply mutual information based analysis to my data under @canalesjohnson. It was a month I’ll never forget, hopefully leading to some meaningful findings in the near future.

Such an honor to work with Andres and his team. Looking forward to continued collaboration in the future!
1/8 Finally published at @NatureComms, "Distributed representations of prediction error signals across the cortical hierarchy are synergistic". Very grateful to all the friends and colleagues around the globe who made this possible.

@KJBinSTL Great question. We believe that there is at least more site acting similar to the RMA. It appears to be more dorsal (closer to foot area). These results are shown in Extended Data Figure 2.

@_stah @Da_Mesquita_S Thanks for the question. area 3a supposedly has strong somatotopy in humans (, while the RMA does not. Also 3a is in the posterior bank while our site is located in the anterior bank in 9/11 subjects (Ext. Data Fig 1)

@dora_hermes Tough question! I would say Supplementary Figure 10, demonstrating how we identified hand tongue foot and RMA sites naively from a 3D feature space using K-means clustering

The organization of the homunculus as we've known it is being challenged. Check out our latest paper clearly demonstrating a motor association area in the depth of the central sulcus: #CaMPlab @Kai_J_Miller

@PeterAttiaMD Dr Attia, you’re Podcast has changed my life in many ways. I just got into my top 3 med school choices, Hopkins, Mayo, and Baylor. Do you have any advice on which factor(s) are most important when I choose a school? Thank you for your guidance.
