@ArtCandee @Acyn Coincidentally, "pathetic stuff" was Eric Trump's childhood nickname from the ages of 3 to 41.

@Polymarket Whoa, are you seriously letting people bet money on what notorious liar Elon Musk claims is true on his social media platform without the slightest bit of evidence? I was kind of on board with the election stuff but you all have completely lost the plot...

@TrumpsTileGuy @DOGE In 2024, $1.8 billion was approved for hurricane response and recovery and $32k for transgender comic books in Peru. You may not agree with spending a trifling amount of the federal budget on transgender comic books, but comparing it to hurricane aid makes you look super dumb.

@REALCULTNEWS It's actually the reverse. There's already a law on the books (FCPA) that prohibits US companies from bribing foreign officials; Trump's EO is pausing enforcement of that law. (and I'd mention that an EO literally cannot make an activity illegal but I don't want to distract)

@billcrick12 @electMikeHarvey @mcuban @rhemrajani9 @DOGE I'm glad we agree that "and finding it at every turn" is a lie.

@iamharaldur I feel like Severance is doing a much better job at foreshadowing where they're headed in general. You could already take some pretty good guesses as to the significance of MDR, Kier's beliefs, Lumon/Eagans, Ms. Casey, the board, goats, etc. and you'd probably be in the ballpark.

@adamnash @ArmandDoma Yes, it seems clear. Even so, an EO is the wrong way over working with Congress to remove it from the currency list in 5112 and lock in the details for phasing it out over time (like Canada did). Trump would still get a victory lap, he just wouldn't get to feel like a king.

@ylahackett @ArmandDoma Only Congress could decommission the penny by removing it from the list of allowable currency in 5112, but 5111 explicitly delegates the decision of how much of each currency type to mint to the Secretary of Treasury, and nothing in the law prevents him from choosing "zero".

@billcrick12 @electMikeHarvey @mcuban @rhemrajani9 @DOGE Give one concrete example of fraud discovered by the Musketeers and not just something that you disagree about funding. Just one.

@jacklgoldsmith If only there were a branch of government with the Constitutional power to interpret laws and give us answers to questions like these...

@BloatMcQueen @Jesse_Brenneman @Captain_C2 @AutismCapital Then maybe the magas shouldn't try to frame the debate as though Elon is actually finding massive amounts of fraud (much less any fraud at all)...

@natosaichek @KinkyContango @whstancil There was, and it went all the way to the Supreme Court. They ruled that the funding was Constitutional, 7-2.

@ArniMagnusarafi @whstancil Not sure what you mean by this. Saying racist things on social media is absolutely legal grounds for firing someone.

@DeshadaRenada @BadLegalTakes There's a video; she's doing nothing but advising on Constitutional rights. It's not a close call at all.

@ArmedHeathen @BadLegalTakes The Constitution protects everyone in America, not just those with citizenship; it's not illegal to explain to someone their rights. If Omar was advising them on how to break the law (e.g. "if questioned, punch the agent in the stomach and run away") that would be different.
