Interesting fact I learned while making The Dynasty (from Ernie Adams): everything about the Super Bowl is scheduled in advance. Even the flights home on Monday. The team planes line up on runways across from each other. The losing team has to wait. The winners take off first.

brought Chris Smith in to show AMERICAN MOVIE. It’s my favorite documentary. Mike Schank is one of the best characters ever captured on film. Stop whatever you’re doing and watch this masterpiece with a friend…and some vodka.
RIP Mike Schank, the sweet funny soul at the heart of the extraordinary doc 'American Movie'. Me, Simon & Nick were obsessed with it and since they included Mike's home number on the DVD extras, we called him from London one night. If you've never seen it, please do immediately.

This show is incredible. For someone my age from Boston, its a shot of pure, unadulterated (but joyful) nostalgia. Then it dives deeper into the egos and complexities of the game. Throughout, there's amazing archival footage and access to everyone you want to see.
