@DalyPolitics @JJanegle @politicsusa46 The US was a 90% European country until like 2 decades ago. It's identity and culture was European. That's what's being destroyed.

@TissotSacha1 @ClosertoSpace While loco hauled trains are definitely on the retreat they still fill some niche roles and therefore still have a future. We can see it in the Czech Republic or in Austria where new types of loco hauled trains are developed.

@Justin80136943 @ClosertoSpace It's way more flexible when it comes to capacity, that's the reason. A Ter 200 can have 6,7,8,9 or even 10 coaches depending on the daytime. It saves energy.

@torquem249 @prostourbiter @blackcat7274 @Maarblek The radical left in the west is often pro Russia, since they are tankies/communists and support another udssr

@roxashd @amazingmap Slower TGV like Nice- Paris have 121kmh Marseille Strasbourg 111kmh Brest Paris 95kmh I cannot see how the direct sprinters compensate all the slower ones. In my calculation 195kmh AVG across all TGV is simply not possible

@roxashd @amazingmap Marseille Paris is 662km in 3h3 =218kmh not 236 Valence is never the end stop, one of many, all the tgv that hold in Valence therefore have lower avg kmh because of the stop. Paris Bordeaux is 499km in 2h9 = 232kmh and therefore slower than the lgv est.

@Pro__Trading @JoeyMannarinoUS You overestimate the amount of "free will" most humans have when it comes to negative habits and addictions. The amount of decisions that are subconscious, and that can only be fixed when the environment is changed. Knowing human nature is knowing that we're still half primates

@PradaJules @Maks_NAFO_FELLA In trench warfare the defenders have the big advantage, it was like that in ww1, it was like that in ww2 and jt's the same thing in the ukraine war. Especially when the fields are open and flat.

@Orexinantagoni1 @s_ketharaman @oskarth @MichaelAArouet It doesn't go strictly by administrative borders, it seems to include suburbs and the greater city area. Stuttgart and Düsseldorf too. Both have 600k, but if you include the people in a 30km radius they both have more inhabitants than a million city like Munich.
