Very disappointed. The Fan 97.3 has removed Coach John Kentera as mid day host. The Coach has been a fixture on sports talk radio since our days at the legendary XTRA 690
He deserved respect from everyone.

Today the Mighty 1090 went out of business again-changing format
We remember great times with great talent that made XTRA-Sports 690 and Mighty 1090 iconic sports talk stations.
Sadly corporate ownership ruined both stations.
Hope listenership enjoyed what we built for fans.

Saddest part of all this...So many talented people put their lives into developing the sports talk format on these Border Buster stations (690-1090) only to see management-leadership-ownership destroy the format and impact so many careers of guys who cared ! It's a shame..
