I turned 49 this year. Here is what I learned last year: I started to value my time over just about everything. I find it harder and harder to tolerate bullshitters, timewasters, and incompetent people. Due to a sports accident, I learned that a pristine health condition is going to be key for me. I also stopped drinking alcohol and lost 10 kg, but more should come I am not going to outcode and outship younger people. They have more energy and time. Need to find a better way... Trying to give back and helping others is becoming an essential part of my life.
