RIP Coach Bob Knight.
Like many coaches my age, I studied his motion offense with a keen eye. His teaching of the game is unequaled…he would say Pete Newell was a better teacher.
As a college kid I wrote to him and he wrote back. I was thrilled when the letter arrived.
