“If you take a woman to be your wife, be a father, mother, and brother to her, because she is leaving her father, her mother, and her brothers in order to be with you. (1/2)
My father used to say to me: “in religion always look at those above you and In worldly matter always look at those below you. If you look below in religion, you’ll stay content with misguidance. If you look above in worldly matters, you’ll never be satisfied with your blessings”
This ayyah is placed so interestingly, for me it’s nothing short of a miracle. 🧵
I opened Surah Taha randomly in masjid ul haraam once and started reading:
🔴 Musa عليه السلام requests Allah that He make his brother, Haroon عليه السلام, his vizier (Ayah 29)

The scholars of Syria would even help *prostitutes* to quit this sin. Imam Badrud Din Al Hassani used to do the same. They would also help them get married.
You calling someone a hoe wouldn’t bring them back to Allah
Mohammed Hijab exposing Craig’s 3 headed dog analogy will forever be the highlight of this debate which Hijaab clearly won
This was the best debate so far since Shaykh Ahmed Deedat رحمه اللّٰه passed away
Allah chose the best woman of her time, Ummuna Khadijatul Kubra رضي الله عنها, as the first wife of Rasool Allah ﷺ. She was who was already married twice before, having children from those marriages. Allah chose this to show: (1/3)
When i was sitting in the courtyard of masjid nabawi last year, i was thinking to myself: even though I am so far from the blessed grave, there’s a chance that when the wind blows it touched it and then it might reach me and the atoms that touched the blessed rawdah-
Let me tell you a secret about the two pillars next to ar rawdah as shareef from Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Kitaab Al Adhkaar of Imam Nawawi, Shifa us siqaam of Imam Taqi ud Din As Subki etc 🧵
I can’t describe how many times has this ayah played in my head whenever I am in trouble
This ayah alone is enough proof for me that the Noble Qur’an is from Allah
When I used to walk on Ibrahim Al Khalil road in Makkah to go to Masjid Al Haraam (🕋), there comes a point before the clock tower where people would put bread on the floor for birds to eat.
Sometimes I’d see rats eating there as well. And I’d think to myself (1/3)
I still remember the days when i was a teenager, reading through and used to think my father knows absolutely NOTHING about religion.
I literally forgot that that man was the one who held my hand and took me to the first Jummuah of my life

Reminder: sins remove barakah (blessing) in rizk, bring darkness to the heart and the face, make worship harder and removes gina (serenity)
Don’t do it bruh. It’s not worth it
The pleasure connected to sinning is short lived…while its harms persist. Sins literally have physical effects on the body and even greater effects on the soul.
Allah ﷻ gives us blessings so we can thank Him…but instead we use the same blessing to disobey Him
Rasool Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him” (Sahih Bukhari 6508)
Do you think you are a disappointment?
Are you asking yourself: ya Allah why me!?
Do you think you are bound for hell?

It was like Allah reminding him (and us) that all of our life experiences, the good, the bad, the ugly, the sad, the happy, the heartbreaking and rejuvenating ones…they all happen just so Allah can bring you where He wants you to arrive and for me…it was the 🕋 (5/5)

So the wahabiya finally caught up to the ummah 200 years later that following the 4 madhabs is valid and their celebrity shaykh finally acknowledged it (as if we needed anyone’s validation)
How (Kareem) Gracious is the Rabb who invites the sinners to His house, the ones who openly disobey Him despite their internal states being dirtier than the rats roaming on the streets of Makkah
We thank Allah for blessing us to thank Him despite our sins. (3/3)
When I was leaving for Madinah, my father said to me: “when you walk past the rawdah, keep your eyes on the ground and don’t look at it. Are you not ashamed of staring shamelessly towards him ﷺ with all your sins and violations of sunnah that you have brought with you?”
This might be the most important tweet of this account!
Here Shaykh Ash-Shaheed Ramadan Al Bouti is teaching the adaab (manners) of how to make dua’ (supplication) by recalling the dua’ of Zakriyyah AS
⬇️ lecture translated by me
Guys: treat your wives, daughters, sisters and mothers well. Be kind to them and speak to them with compassion and sympathy. Use your emotional intelligence when dealing with them.
Not giving them their rights will literally land you in hell.

Last night I was told:
An imam was giving friday khutbah in the states and a guy stood up and kept standing for the entire khutbah. The imam said this annoyed him alot but he kept quiet.
Later he was told in the shafi’i madhab you can stand in the khutbah out of adab

Sheikh Ramadan Al-Bouti RA said: “It is not the eloquence and choice of words that touch a person’s heart. It’s the state of the heart that affects the other person listening to those words. (1/4)
One of my favourite Hadith on salawaat/durood
If you want a life full of blessings and khayr/goodness and guidance, recite abundant salaam on the most beloved ﷺ
might also bless the atoms of my body…
And then I had an epiphany: what if this breeze travels the world, by the command of Allah, and touches the ones beloved to him ﷺ?
Have you noticed how in ahadith it is always قال رسول اللّٰه ﷺ?
Even in the Quran Allah does not call him by his name without saying Rasool, except at one occasion, which itself is surah Muhammad.
I dislike for myself to take his blessed name due to this reason
Imam Malik used to walk barefoot in Madinah: “How dare I walk on these land with shoes while the most sacred body of the prophet lays here”
Imam Malik used to go outside Madinah to answer’s nature’s call
The love he had for Rasool Allah ﷺ…as a Hanafi I revere him and love him
As a divine wisdom, that His qadr in taking something from you is not Him humiliating you, but can sometimes be to bless you with something even better. Also to show the best of the woman of the world can be a widow. Also to alleviate the status of a widow in the society (2/3)
Ok Dr. Shadee shared one of his hajj miracles in NBF. 376 so I will share my Madinah Munawarah miracle too

My first tahajjud at Masjid Nabwi, I had this reallyyy runny nose. I get to the masjid and i am sitting close to the minbar of Rasool Allah ﷺ

I got sick and runny nose when i first went to Madinah Shareef. And alot of people have experienced this too. Maybe it’s the AC in Masjid An Nabawi Shareef
But obviously you need to have adab with Madinah Munawarah, so I was thinking (1/2)
Shaykh made me recite this ayah in class and said: “if Allah were to give us everything we wanted, we would’ve only rebelled. Allah knows how much to give and to whom. See how much Allah already blesses us and how little thankful we are to Him”
Dr. Shadee fixing a Darth Varder toy for his son(?) mid stream was so beautiful Allahuma baarik

Ibn Abdil Wahhab on wearing Amulets for curing fever: shirk
Anyone who wears it: shirk
Ibn Qayyim, Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah, Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal رضي الله عنه and plethora of other imams: allowed
Also Ibn Qayyim recommending amulets for fever
Now who’s the mushrik?
Therefore, it is right that she see in you the graciousness of a father, the tenderness of a mother, and the gentleness of a brother. Then you will be a husband who is granted success.”

“Allah provides these rats with rizq and they get to live their whole life in the blessed city of Makkah close to the Haram. They do not disobey their Rabb, yet I as a muslim do despite being fed by the same Rabb.
Instantly I would think to myself (2/3)
Fatwa of Imam Ahmed on kissing the pulpit of Rasool Allah ﷺ and the blessed grave and drawing tabarruk from them. And Imam Dhahabi commenting only that only the Khwarij and Ahlul Bid3ah will object to this practice of Imam Ahmad 😅

Imam Bukhari lost his eyesight when he was a child. His mother used to cry all night in tahajjud praying to Allah.
So one night she saw Sayyiduna Ibrahim عليه السلام who said to her: “Indeed, Allah has restored your sons eyesight because of your excessive crying.” فردّ بصره

I used to sit in this courtyard, read kitab ash shifa of Qadi Iyyad and recite salawaat while looking at the green dome, thinking to myself my beloved ﷺ would be replying to each one of them.
I understood the true meaning of pure love while sat in this courtyard
And many more wisdoms, such that the divine wisdoms of Allah can’t be truly fathomed nor encompassed. But we can only try to uncover only few with our minds (3/3)
What made me fall in love with Imam Maalik:
Imam Maalik never used to leave Madinah, lest he died outside it.
He learnt hadith from possibly all hadith masters of his time, except one in Makkah. And it wasn’t like he didn’t visit Makkah. He went once for Hajj (1/2)
Icl I have felt him nearly tearing up multiple times while he’s teaching us Bukhari Shareef.
May Allah preserve our shaykh, bless him and keep him safe ❤️
Secrets of the rawdah mubarak part 2 🧵
Do you know the lock on the door to the blessed rawdah has a verse from the famous Qaseedah Burdah written on it?
Let me tell you a secret about the two pillars next to ar rawdah as shareef from Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Kitaab Al Adhkaar of Imam Nawawi, Shifa us siqaam of Imam Taqi ud Din As Subki etc 🧵
And the person standing was a shafi’i and for him it was adab and the imam giving the khutbah wasn’t a shafi’i so he didn’t know.
I was told: seek knowledge and it’ll broaden your horizons and you’ll become receptive of opposing views.
This was a good message worth sharing

I have seen miracles happening and duas being answered the moment you get close to Rawdah Mubarak. The miracles of my Beloved ﷺ continue.
Wallahi you’re still alive wallahi you’re still alive wallahi you’re still alive. But we cannot perceive nor understand your station.
This hadith was solely responsible for making me realise a few years ago that all 4 madhabs are CORRECT. If you follow any of them, you’d get to the truth.
Difference of opinion is actually a proof of divine inspiration of shariah, because (1/2)
Tell them about Banu Quraidah and how Rasool Allah ﷺ said you’d be rewarded as long as you try to follow me. Tell them difference of opinion in fiqh is natural and is a divine mercy from Allah.

The ‘male-based fiqh’:
-if the husband is stingy, she can take from his wallet the amount she needs for her needs as per ‘urf
-she is not obliged to provide provisions from her dowry that her father gave her and it is her property
-a husband has no right to wife’s property
The 'male-biased fiqh':
-The husband is obliged to buy/hire a maid for the wife to do the household chores (if she is from a high social status)
-The wife is not obliged to cook for guests or for her husband's parents
-She can refuse sex or request divorce if nafaqah is not paid

Explanation:

In 1900 Muhammad ‘Abduh gave a fatwah declaring Riba halal. And the Viceroy of Egypt, Lord Cromer, said about his freemason ‘friend’: “I suspect my friend ‘Abduh was in reality an agnostic,” and of his Salafi movement: “They are natural allies of the European reformer”.
Ah! simple days when ASWJ used to do dawah…
Shaykh Ahmed Deedat was once asked by a Christian lady: “The bible says God created Adam in His image so why can’t God be a human being with body parts?”
No Muslim will object to what the Shaykh says:
Let’s test the waters:
'How beautiful is married life between two friends who love each other, and how repulsive is married life between a husband and wife who act like animals in the house.’
