@paulmp I never dared try self-employment, so I can’t imagine what it’s like to not have people wanting my services. For the first 12 years of my working life I totally subjugated myself to the soulless life of the public service. I don’t recommend that either. Luckily I found teaching.

@Dusterz @DrAllyLouks I had a bad concussion that impacted all my senses on my left side. I lost partial sensitivity, & could only smell more powerful odours (hear louder sounds, taste stronger flavours, etc). While this isn’t the same, I imagine that the brain could be similarly fooled after trauma.
