With the growing feeling that Desmond Ridder is going to be the starter the last 4 games I decided to go back and watch the preseason game to see if we had rose colored glasses on. This is what I saw...a thread
5 games in and Darnell Mooney has almost matched his numbers from the past 2 seasons with the Bears. Add 3 TDs to boot. Mooney has definitely lived up to what we thought he could be.
“Word in Indianapolis is the Chicago Bears are close to finalizing a deal which would send former first-round pick Justin Fields to the Atlanta Falcons”

One more sack and this will be his most productive year as a pass rusher. Impressive for a rookie. Love when a guy is ascending when he enters the league
Zach Harrison last three games for the Atlanta Falcons.
8 tackles
3 tackles for loss
3 quarterback hits
3 sacks
1 pass deflection
Love what I’ve seen from him.
In his 2022 NFL Mock Draft 2.0,
@Jordan_Reid
gave Atlanta their quarterback of the future with UNC QB Sam Howell 👀🚨👀
What do you think of Howell's fit with the Falcons? 🤔👇

The real MVP last night was my little girl was a champ. Every time that said what do Falcons do she shouted "Rise Up". For her First game she did great. Better than AJ McCarron.
I find these quotes to be entertaining. Especially how ppl react to them. What do you want him to say "nope we suck no reason to play the games at all" I want my player to feel like they can win every game. Maybe I am just crazy.

WR Olimade Zaccheaus: “I feel like we’re a playoff team. We just (have) to put everything together. Really start fast at the beginning of the season and not get into a hole. I just feel like as a team, we can shock a lot of people.”
I got the chance to have an exclusive sit-down interview with

star Calais Campbell intends to sign a 1-year deal with them. The Pro Bowler and former Walter Payton Man of the year will lend leadership to a young team he believes in. And Atlanta adds — again — on defense.
All I know is the Falcons gonna make all the moves have a better team than last year, maybe the past 2 years, and ppl still gonna act like they didn't do anything. Gotta love ATL Fandom.
Funny don't see anyone complaining that the Eagles won with a dominant run game, while their highly paid QB threw for less than 200 yds on 18 completion. Side note, throwing 4 TDs in a loss does that make a fan feel better about the team.
So glad the Falcons are on the other side of their cap situation. Watching other teams having to release trade or restructure their players while knowing we are set and ready is a different feeling.
Many of you in this Fan base I truly enjoy interacting with. Then there are plenty in this fan base that are insufferable. They will 💩 on any and everything the Team does, all while calling themselves a true fan.
If this is what TF does with no money I can't wait to see next year when we got all of the money. The signings are smart and savvy. Doing well with what he has.
After watching the re watching the game my thoughts as follows.
1. You need an accurate QB if low volume is the goal
2. Tyler Allgeier is finding his stride and that’s fun.
3. With our top CBs out it is really putting a strain on the D line.
With ridder in you don't really lose anything from the aspect of the QB run. IMO you gain some because he is not looking to run so quick. When he does it is usually when nothing is open, and he picks up big yards.
Tyler Allgeier is rounding into an all around good back. Put in some decent work on the ground and good work through the air. Huntley is really looking like a steal. Once CP84 gets back next week he should add some lighting to the young bucks thunder.
Per NFL League source, Falcons’ DT Grady Jarrett has agreed to a 3-year extension worth up to $67-million over the life of the deal with another $1.5 million in incentives.
