@RiverTamYDN I think the moral of the story is that individual preferences may vary. In any case we should let people/developers build what they want on property they own. Suburbs will still get built in a zoning free society because lot of people like them. Same goes for urban towns.

@InlandCaGuy @CA_Commissioner Agreed. When you’re the world’s richest man and have been your own boss for a long time you’re probably not used to being told ‘no’. In the corporate world you can operate as a dictator in your own business but you’ll hit some road blocks (ie judges) when working in government.

@constans When you’re the world’s richest man, being told ‘no’ is something you’re not used to hearing. So when you work in government you’ll get told ‘no’ or ‘wait for this approval’ often. So when you’re rich and have been your own boss for a long time it’s hard to adjust.

@awstar11 Being anti Elon/DOGE isn’t the same as being pro status quo. Reality isn’t black and white. People have lots to hate the current status quo. You can think that while also thinking it’s bad to cancel funding for biomedical research.

@Steven_Hyden I think the standard 1.5 hours is good. Just from my experience if a show lasts longer than that they are playing lots of covers and deep cuts only the most hardcore fans know. My dad saw Bruce Springsteen in 85 and hated it because he played for 4 hours & only knew the hits lol
