No evidence for God? Really? There’s a difference between saying there’s no evidence and saying the evidence offered isn’t adequate or conclusive. If inadequate, to be fair you have to show why the evidence given isn’t good and how your alternative explains the facts better.

With many “worship” songs, we aren't really singing about God, but rather about how we feel—or are trying through to feel by singing—about God. For me, genuine worship usually flows better when I stop singing about me and my feelings and start singing about Him and His goodness.

Quick prayer request for me. Going into ablation heart surgery for my intermittent a-fib on Tuesday, 3/3, at 8:30 AM PST. Fairly simple procedure with an overnight stay in the hospital. A little spooky, but not too dangerous. I should be okay. Thanks for the covering!

It’s curious that multitudes of women who say they can do whatever they want with their own bodies willingly submit their bodies to de facto house arrest (shelter-in-place) because the government is currently telling them what they can do with their own bodies.

Christians should get out of the habit of trying to refute every story a nonbeliever can spin or every claim he can manufacture. Place the burden of proof on the other person when he makes the claim. That’s the sound tactical approach.

Careful theists do not claim that belief in God is necessary to do good, but, rather, God is necessary for an act to be good. Without God, true morality has no foundation.

We have longer “life” than we think. At 70 I’m not pressured to in 15-20 years correct disappointments or accomplish all the hopes and dreams I had for this life. People get discouraged, even suicidal, looking at the short time left. In Christ we have NO limit to our years. None.

The most common attestation for Jesus in the early church, from the very beginning, is that Jesus is Lord. The Lord Jesus Christ. God who became man and is Messiah. There's no other way that 'Lord' can be construed when used in those contexts. He is THE Lord, not a Lord.

The most important thing a young Christian can learn is Christianity. Once you have a solid grasp of true historic Christianity, then learn more of the reasons why we can trust Christianity. If we're going to defend the faith, we'd better be clear on the faith we're defending.

Group worship frustrates when worship leaders don’t lead, but rather sing their vocally creative versions of pop songs. Great for entertainment (maybe), but awful for worship since few can follow. If the group isn’t singing, the leader's not leading. He’s entertaining (maybe).
