Trump saying opposing the CR is necessary and that "Anything else is a betrayal of our country" is itself a tremendous demonstration of his basic unfitness for the office he will soon again hold.

I'm concerned about the bad things he did do, like try to steal an election and incite a mob to attack Congress.

The left wants you to suspend reality and believe that Trump will do bad things in the next 4 years that he didn’t do in his first 4 years while believing Harris will do good things in the next 4 years that she didn’t do in the past 4 years.

Every partisan has to ask, what's too much for the party to ask? Barr has answered that there's no such line for him, to his eternal discredit.

Collins: Just to be clear, you're voting for someone who you believe tried to subvert the peaceful transfer of power, that can’t even achieve his own policies, that lied about the election, who is facing 88 criminal counts . Barr: The answer the question is yes.

What's happening with Republicans on the Hill now is not organic, it's not an evolution in policy thinking. It's almost entirely a response to the whims of a twice impeached, multiple times indicted, failed casino mogul, former Democrat, and megalomaniac.

24 hours into the second Trump administration he has said and done many things that should alarm conservatives and constitutionalists. So far, just silence and obedience. That's not the conservative movement I grew up in.

Feeling this from @allahpundit ."My days of giving the right the benefit of the doubt about its good intentions are over. Watching a supposedly principled small-government movement like the Tea Party transform overnight into an authoritarian personality cult intoxicated with.

Defending Europe against Russian invasion, supporting Taiwan against Chinese Communist threats, standing with Israel. If this is "capitulating to Democrats", we have a very different idea of what it is to be a Republican.

Today we saw far too many Republicans congratulating themselves for capitulating to Democrats and claiming it as a victory. And then blaming their capitulation on conservatives. Disgusting.

The Court will reject this insane and dangerous argument. But it's not for the Court alone to defend the Constitution. This should be rejected by Republicans in Congress. It should be rejected by ordinary Americans who should shun anyone who would make such a claim.

A PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES MUST HAVE FULL IMMUNITY, WITHOUT WHICH IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM/HER TO PROPERLY FUNCTION. ANY MISTAKE, EVEN IF WELL INTENDED, WOULD BE MET WITH ALMOST CERTAIN INDICTMENT BY THE OPPOSING PARTY AT TERM END. EVEN EVENTS THAT “CROSS THE LINE”.

Tucker Carlson is more indicative of where the GOP is than AOC is of where the Dems are. It's on us to condemn him.

Judge Griffith is a tremendous patriot. I'm proud to have worked on his confirmation, which, it must be said, many Democrats fiercely opposed.

Retired federal judge Thomas Griffith, a conservative, co-authored a report looking into the 2020 election. He says Jan. 6 protestors were duped. “All the evidence points in one direction,” he says. “And that is that President Biden won, and President Trump lost.”

Dear Gator Nation and cherished friends,. This isn’t an easy note to write but wanted to give you an update on our family. As many of you know, my wife Melissa suffered an aneurysm and series of strokes in 2007. Back then, the docs prepared us for the worst, but – in God’s.

Just, for the record, this is an extraordinarily bad answer for someone who does and wishes to continue to hold an office under the Constitution of the United States. It impossible to overstate how shameful this is.
