🌞 Ready for summer holidays? Here are some green tips if you leave your lab/office for holidays: - Turn off your computer, equipment and the lights to save energy. - Check the communal fridge to prevent food waste. - Consider the train instead of a car or plane for your travels.

I believe that relatively simple, low-cost and effective actions can significantly reduce the environmental impact of research labs. Together we can continue making science greener in the Netherlands and beyond 🍃

At the same time, I try to inspire people with the things I learn. Recently, I started a new job as a PhD researcher at the Amsterdam UMC, where I will also be committed to finding more sustainable ways to conduct my research.”
