Our pupil parliament children took the harvest donations down to church today. They had a great time with some out the staff and parents organising the donations. They were an absolute credit to our school values! @ForwardAs1Trust

A big thank you Miss Eustice for organising the whole event, Mrs for manning the hot chocolate station all evening and Mr Yiasoumis for his technical expertise , Mr Rowlands for hidden telescope skills. @ForwardAs1Trust

In the Year 6 classroom Mr Yiasoumis had used his technical expertise to create a film loop showing 9 mini films by NASA so we could learn more. We loved the galaxy effect lighting to set the mood! @ForwardAs1Trust

Other activities included making a Lego space rover, creating a tinfoil and ribbon comet, experiments in creating the biggest crater and sharing books to find out more about what excited us! @ForwardAs1Trust

Our Family Stargazing evening last night was a huge success - children enjoyed visiting the Wonderdome, drinking Crockpot hot chocolate and using the telescopes and the Night sky app. @ForwardAs1Trust
