The Colter Lift has arrived!
#tower2
We cannot wait for next winter when the Colter Lift is set to open up a whole new world on Peaked Mountain. Over the course of the summer we will keep you up to date on the construction of the new six pack.
It all starts with the foundation.
Construction on the Colter Lift continues with the pouring of the foundation for the top terminal. While summer is in full swing, we can’t stop thinking about the new terrain set to open on Peaked Mountain this winter.

Our hearts are heavy with the passing of Gene Palmer (1930 - 2022).
Gene was a pioneer and one of the founding fathers of Grand Targhee. His impact can be seen and felt today throughout the resort. Simply put, the Ghee would not be the same had Gene Palmer not been part of it.
We're excited to announce our new Avalanche Rescue Cat Program in conjunction with Advocates for Avy Cats! Willie has recently graduated from the intensive training program and will be the first GT Avalanche Cat on the mountain!
