$asts as much as I bitch, it's probably a buy around here. After a review of the fcc application, I can't see the fcc denying att sharing the spectrum it purchased.
I lost a bet on the $asts spacemobile Reddit-- if Bluewalker 3 launched before September 16, 2022, I had to bake a cake saying "I was wrong, everyone else was right." Let's get started. 1/8
The nice thing about $asts and $orgn is that if you're a long term holder, you've already lost so much that these fluctuations really only have a minor effect on your portfolio.
@DeanoFate
@TheInsiderPaper
It's because no one can afford to have kids anymore because the cost of living has skyrocketed while wages haven't. God you boomers are disgusting.
@thekookreport
Thanks for posting this. I think they're correct. What adds to this is the other slides
@PeeLoosy
and
@spacanpanman
posted today from other companies with illustrations and additional testing guidelines.
The message was positive but the method obscured jt.
I promised
@CatSE___ApeX___
i'd try to be more positive about $asts so it's nice to see the stock price go up without any sort of news release, progress, or transparency from the company :)
For the record, I want $asts to succeed. But the community pumping and claiming "I'm buying more" and "These prices are a blessing" and "This is an opportunity" are scum, just as much as management is for lying.
I guess the four big $orgn questions now are:
1) What exactly is happening with O1;
2) What is going to happen in the next 3(+) years before O2 gets online;
3) What near-term catalysts exist; and
4) What is the ultimate longterm plan for the company? O3 doesn't exist anymore.
If anyone in your preferred ticker is talking about how shorts are fucked or how buffett preaches patience, sell. It means you're lumped in with the morons.
$asts After a reflection on today's posting, I should probably say I hope they succeed and the potential exists for outsized returns.
I just wish they treated the shareholder base better and were more transparent.
Some of the posts by Spacemob are completely misleading, though
@AbelAvellan
@AST_SpaceMobile
Dear pr people managing this account, you're missing the back half of this tweet, which should be what the near future looks like and what milestones we can anticipate. Given the limited runway of funds, guidance is paramount.
$asts Whatever. Fuck it. Earnings in two weeks. I'll stop complaining until then. But you should blast the IR department question submittal with "How is the first constellation going to be funded?"
Hey, fun fact about $asts-- don't expect a launch date March 31. Because they have another earnings call due 6 weeks later. So you won't hear shit until May 15th. Thanks for waiting until the last day every time,
@AbelAvellan
There's got to be something that caused that BIG pivot in O2. Like a reason why they scrapped the whole deal and decided to tack on a two year delay. The demand already existed for O2.
@LydenYoussef
Advice for impotent management:
1) Issue a press release with near-term and long-term milestones on a timeline.
2) Identify what has been successfully tested and remains to be tested;
3) Strongly emphasize what has gone right.
5) O2 is now half the size.
6) O2 is now 50% more expensive.
7) No timeline for O3 whatsoever.
8) Feedstock need for O2 halved so margins higher but initial capex increased by 60%.
$asts Hear that? It's people pissed off over the sound of silence. They want to know if the satellite works. And they're tired of the
@ATT
teasing.
It's time for a real, substantive update
@scottwisniews
.
$asts I really like Spacemobile has decided to clam up after the earning report where they were slammed for poor communication. Just great job. Just stellar.
Since it's been one year since bw3 launched, let's look at all the accomplishments $asts has had in the past year:
1) Fucking its shareholders with two rounds of dilution;
2) Collateralizing all of its ip on a 100m loan that demands a third round of dilution
@StunningFeline
I'm gonna shrug at this point and say "Maybe not." My other big bet, $orgn, is amazing at it. Just constant conferences and updates and good news. And its price is shitty.
@EVinfos
Commitment to q4 launch of additional satellites. Progress on facility build out. MoU details. Cash burn rate. Generalized statement that testing is going well.
1) O2 pivots to a completely different product.
2) O1 now stated with a focus on funded joint development programs.
3) Paraxylene is apparently being farmed out to licensees to fulfill existing contracts?
4) O2 is now focusing on oils and extracts preliminarily while O1 is not.
@AST_SpaceMobile
Completely neglects the fact that there is no launch date and no one knows the status of the next 5 satellites. Why isn't there a launch date?
@orgninvestor
@michael39210245
@bysl
What should have happened:
1) O1 progress report.
2) O2 announcement
3) Explanation and side-by-side illustration of O1 cost then and now.
4) How and why they're pivoting;
5) Other good news like caps.
JB is a sincere guy. He comes across as earnest. It would have worked.
@Aur3ius
Vague but positive BW3 data. Some information about manufacturing facilities and the new MNO agreements. Statements about cash burn. Vague but optimistic statements about AT&T but no real information.
Wet ingredients. Egg whites, sour cream, vanilla extract, butter, and sugar (not pictured). Even though it's dry, sugar is considered a wet ingredient.
@AST_Diaries
Lol OK, if this holds sustained 10 for 30 days in the next 12 months without a reverse split I won't badmouth it, I'll apologize and donate $500 to a charity of
@CatSE___ApeX___
's choice.
