How would the Finnish Defence Forces fare against an invasion from the east? I've been following some Finnish volunteers in Ukraine, and noticed a pattern: they tend to think that Finland is better prepared than Ukraine was. I've translated one thread below.
He gives as an example: a large "tent village" where the tents were neatly lined up so that the commander could easily find his men. The Finns were obviously horrified and for a week tried to explain that everything needs to be dispersed and hidden under trees.
#UPDATE
: Israel tricked Hamas into thinking the IDF started a ground invasion into the Gaza Strip, causing Hamas fighters to enter the underground tunnel system in Gaza City. Israel then bombarded the tunnels with intense airstrikes. Casualty count unknown.
Obviously, we can only make tentative conclusions so far, but the Russian military is committing some very basic mistakes from the strategic to tactical levels. Putin also put his military into a very bad situation with unrealistic goals and without giving them much warning.
