The Wampus Cats will be a part of history today and tomorrow by participating in the first baseball games ever played at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem as they face their rival Disco Turkeys. If you're looking for something fun to do, come on up and cheer on the 'Cats!
After hundreds of votes, the people have spoken and have chosen CATTY WAMPUS for our mascot's name! We had a few people suggest this name using various spellings. The contest winner (1st person to suggest) is Diane Maness of Mount Gilead, NC. Thanks to everyone who voted!

Brendan comes to us from West Stanly and will play for national JUCO powerhouse Gaston College. He's expected to play multiple infield spots for the Cats and Rhinos!

The Wampus Cats defeated the Disco Turkeys 5-2 tonight in Winston-Salem to close out our inaugural season with a winning 18-17 record! Congrats to the players and coaches on a great first season in Albemarle! And thank you to all the Cats fans who traveled to W-S tonight
We just picked up a nice road win, 17-4, over the Carolina Ducks tonight! Kipp Thornton homered in a big day for the offense and Garrett Swink got the W on the mound!
