the thing about this is that it’s not a kpop issue. it’s a cultural issue which is exponentially more difficult to dismantle. it is hard to get people to stop doing stuff when they were raised in and are surrounded by a culture that sees nothing wrong with it.
Can kpop idols just stop being weird about weight & skin colour? These are fully grown adults, one would expect them to know what they’re saying. Kpop companies need to implement body positivity & culture sensitisation within their training modalities from a trainee stage itself.
