@simongerman600 In Scottish Gaelic, the generic term nowadays is dealan-dè (God's lightning or God's fire). Older dictionaries say this is the effect you get from twirling a burning stick around or shaking it back and forth. You also get dearbadan-dè and there are lots of local variants.
